Being pregnant and planning for birth and postpartum is a big job under normal circumstances. You deserve support, even in the middle of a pandemic!
I am fully vaccinated and as such I am offering services in person as long as you and everyone in your household is well. Though I am more than happy to do zoom for our consultation and the prenatal meetings if you prefer. (If you or anyone in your household is sick, even if it is not COVID, please let me know so we can do our meetings on zoom until everyone is better. I have kids at home and as you know, I work with a vulnerable population! I don't want to put anyone else at risk. Thank you so much for understanding.)
If you are not vaccinated I ask that you please wear a mask if we are together in person. I will use a mask at your request or at my discretion.
Most hospitals are allowing one support person plus one doula, which is great news. Usually your doula has to have pre approval to get in the hospital without any issues, so you'll have check in and coordinate that with your care provider. I should be allowed to be by your side in person, however if circumstances change and hospital policy dictates that I am not allowed, I will attend your birth via Zoom.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
